News Roundup: Chinese Seafood Ban, Israeli President

Nation. The FDA is stopping imports of Chinese seafood as a precaution until that country can prove the products are free of harmful substances.

Military. The family of a soldier killed in Iraq this week said his death was the result of exhaustion, and accused superior officers of forcing troops to go on dangerous missions without sleep.

World. Israeli President Moshe Katsav is expected to resign after he pleaded guilty to sexually harassing female staffers.

Weather. Rain continues to pour over Texas and Oklahoma, where floods and fierce winds have killed 11 people.

Economy. The Federal Reserve held its interest rate steady amid ongoing concerns about inflation.
