Earlybird Roundup: Karzai At Camp David, Olmert In West Bank

Administration. Afghan President Hamid Karzai visited with President Bush at Camp David this weekend, discussing the Taliban and security in Afghanistan.

Middle East. Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is set to visit the West Bank today to meet with Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas -- the first time in seven years that an Israeli prime minister will set foot in a Palestinian-controlled city.

Iraq. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Sunday that Iraq won't achieve political stability before the September assessment but a troop drawdown this year was "a possibility."

Nation. Bush toured the site of the Minneapolis bridge collapse Saturday and vowed to rebuild the bridge quickly and safely.

Venezuela. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, set to leave office in 2012, confirmed that he will try to change the country's constitution to allow him to stay in power indefinitely.
