Earlybird Roundup: Kenyan Violence, Baghdad Attack, Pakistan Elections

Washington. President Bush signed legislation this week toughening the Freedom of Information Act and allowing businesses to cut ties with Sudan.

World. More than 250 people were killed in Kenya during disputes over the weekend's presidential election.

Iraq. In one of Baghdad's deadliest attacks in months, dozens of people were killed by a suicide bomber at a funeral for a victim of a previous bomb attack.

Pakistan. The Pakistani government delayed elections until Feb. 18 in the wake of Benazir Bhutto's death last week, prompting criticism from Bhutto's party and other opposition factions.

Nation. Government Web sites could be exposing Americans to ID theft and revealing Social Security numbers.
